What we do....
Supporting Children and Families Through Bereavement
At Anthony Davies Childhood Bereavement, we specialise in supporting both professionals and families of children from pre-school through to primary school age who are coping with significant loss.
Our aim is to empower parents, caregivers, and educators with the knowledge, guidance, and emotional support needed to help children navigate grief in a healthy and understanding way.
We offer a range of compassionate, child-centred services, including:
One-to-one support for families, available from the time a loved one is diagnosed as terminal (within six months) and following their passing.
Drop-in bereavement cafés for the whole family to connect and share experiences in a supportive environment.
Young widow support groups offering understanding and peer connection.
Family workshops designed to help all members explore and express their feelings together.
Collaboration with educational settings, ensuring schools and nurseries can provide informed support to grieving children.
Special events for bereaved families throughout the year, marking key moments and providing continued community support.
